From the moment we walked in Krystal’s bridal room, Elena and I felt like we were part of the family! We hadn’t met Krystal and Thomas in person yet, so this was our first time actually putting a face with the name.  Krystal was so sweet and so excited to see us.  She immediately put us at ease.  And, to make things even better, we found out that Krystal was referred to us by one of our previous couples (thank you, Chelsea and Robert).  We love weddings where we were referred to the couple by someone they know!  Of course, Thomas was just as nice and welcoming as Krystal.  Any time I had a request or asked him to do something for a picture, he jumped right  on it.  In short, our day with them was so fun and a piece of cake!

Prior to the wedding, Krystal and I had discussed the possibility of her and Thomas doing a first look.  When we arrived, Krystal let us know that she had changed her mind and didn’t want Thomas to see her until she was walking down the aisle.  That wasn’t a problem for us.  Elena and I worked really hard to get as much done before the ceremony as possible so we could really focus on pictures of Krystal and Thomas after the ceremony.  The Marquardt Ranch is such a beautiful venue and everywhere we turned there were things to take pictures of.  We managed to get pictures of Thomas and the groomsmen as well as Krystal and the bridesmaids before the ceremony started.  After their beautiful ceremony, we whisked the bride and groom away to get their pictures done.  It was cloudy that day and we were quickly losing our daylight.  But, Krystal and Thomas as so cute together and have such great personalities that it didn’t take us long to get some really cute pictures!  We finished up family pictures and then everyone made their way inside for dinner, toasts, and dancing.  There was lots of laughter and dancing.  Tim with Austin Classic DJ kept the dance floor hopping the entire evening.  At the end of the night, Krystal and Thomas dodged crazy sparklers for their send-off.

Krystal and Thomas, thank you both so much for including us in your day.  Elena and I had such a great time with you and wish you both many years of love and happiness together!
