Carissa and Carlos are maybe the most laid back couples we’ve worked with.  They originally contacted us to inquire about our DJ services with Austin Classic DJ.  They told us that they were getting married at The Terrace Club and that Kristen had recommended that they contact us to chat about DJ services (thank you, Kristen!).  I called Carissa and had an awesome time chatting with her.  We sent over a contract for DJ services and got Carissa and Carlos booked.  Several days later, we got another e-mail from Carissa saying that Kristen mentioned that Elena and I provide photography services (thank you, Kristen!) and they were still in need of a photographer.  Of course, I was thrilled to talk with her about photography, as well.

When we arrived on the day of the wedding, we hadn’t met Carissa or Carlos in person yet.  As soon as we walked in the door of the bride’s dressing room at The Terrace Club, we could tell that we were going to have a great time.  Carissa and her mother and all of her bridesmaids were just so, so sweet!  They made us feel right at home.  We got busy taking pictures of all the details of the day.  In no time at all, we were already outside taking pictures of Carissa and the girls and then Carlos and the guys.  As always, we try to get as many pictures done before the ceremony as possible.  It was so nice to get lots of wedding party (and family) pictures done so early in the day.

Carissa and Carlos’ ceremony was beautiful.  The ceremony site at The Terrace Club is big enough to fit large groups, but cozy enough that smaller weddings feel right at home.  After their ceremony, we took an awesome group shot of Carissa and Carlos with all of their guests.  It is such a great shot and one of the many things we love about photographing weddings at The Terrace Club.  After the group picture, we finished up family pictures quickly and then it was our favorite time of the day…pictures of the bride and groom!  Carissa and Carlos made our job as photographers so easy.  They were just naturally cute.  They laughed at the right time.  They made cute little faces.  They made us laugh, too.  It was just an amazing time and we love their pictures!

We finished up all of the formalities for the day and then it was time to party.  Dinner was tasty.  The cake was good.  Tim, with Austin Classic DJ, kept everyone on the dance floor.  Our photo booth was also on hand and friends and family used it all night.  Kristen (a true wedding coordination superstar) even hooked us up with some special lights so we could do a really cool picture with Carissa and Carlos.  In short, the reception was a huge success!

Carissa and Carlos, thank you for trusting us to be such a big part of your wedding day!  We had a wonderful time celebrating with you both.  We wish you both many years of love and happiness together!
