Lindsay and Devin’s Ivory Oak Wedding was pretty much the perfect wedding! And, Lindsay and Devin were just about the perfect couple for us. First, they found us because we had photographed Lindsay’s brother’s wedding a couple of years ago (thank you, Meredith and Jeremy). We LOVE when families we have worked with come back to us for more weddings…especially when the family is as fun and nice as Lindsay and Jeremy’s! Second, Lindsay and Devin are just two of the kindest, sweetest people we know. They are both so quick to laugh and always have a smile on their faces. These two made us feel so welcome on their wedding day. And finally, they are one of the cutest couples we’ve ever taken pictures of. With all of that in mind, it’s no surprise that we had such a great time at this wedding!

Our time with Lindsay and Devin actually began several months ago with their engagement session. We met Lindsay and Devin at The Ivory Oak one evening and spent a few hours taking pictures. When we arrived at The Ivory Oak for their wedding, we found Lindsay in the cute bride’s house getting ready. We had plenty of time for getting ready pictures with the guys and girls. Everyone looked so great! Lindsay and Devin’s ceremony took place under the huge oak trees in the middle of the venue and it was just perfect. After the ceremony, we spent a few minutes with family and then came our favorite part of the day…Lindsay and Devin’s pictures. Devin looked sharp in his black tux and Lindsay was such a beautiful bride. Every picture we took was amazing!

Lindsay and Devin’s reception was epic fun! One of our favorite parts of the day were the toasts. All of the toast givers did a great job. They were funny, personal, and showed how much everyone loves the newlyweds. Lindsay and Devin opted for a live band instead of a DJ and it was such a great decision. Live bands have such a great energy and they danced the evening away with their friends and family. Luckily, we were able to pull Lindsay and Devin off of the dance floor for one more shot towards the end of the evening…and it was AMAZING!!!
