Terrace Club Wedding | Wedding Photographer in Austin | Kelsey and Lance
If there’s a sweeter couple than Kelsey and Lance out there, we haven’t met them yet. Their Terrace Club wedding was so special and we are just thrilled that were able to be part of their big day. Before their wedding, we had the opportunity to spend an afternoon with Kelsey and Lance taking some really great engagement pictures (click HERE to see those just in case you missed the cuteness). Their pictures were so good, in fact, that they were featured on The Knot in their ‘How He Asked’ section! (Click HERE to see that awesomeness.) Of course, after such an awesome engagement session, we had high hopes for their wedding pictures…and we weren’t disappointed because, on top of being some of the nicest people we know, Kelsey and Lance are also very cute and very photogenic. All of those things are big plusses in our book!!!
When we arrived, Kelsey and her bridesmaids were busy getting ready. We were able to get such cute pictures of the entire process. Once Lance arrived and he was dressed, things started to happen quickly. Kelsey and Lance didn’t want to do a first look, but they did want to exchange gifts and letters in person without seeing each other. So, we got Kelsey in place under some oak trees and then I walked Lance out to meet her. Since his eyes were closed, I had to guide him the entire way. I put Lance with his back to Kelsey’s back and then had him open his eyes. It was an exciting moment as they held hands, exchanged gifts and read each other’s letters…and the pictures are adorable. We also had the opportunity to do a first look with Kelsey and her father. His reaction was just priceless!
We had lots of time before the ceremony for groom/groomsmen and bride/bridesmaids pictures. We were even able to get some family pictures taken care of prior to the ceremony. That certainly saved us some time afterwards. Kelsey and Lance’s ceremony was perfect. A gentlemen played bagpipes during the processional and it was amazing! It fit the day to a T. After the ceremony, we ran up on the hill to get pictures of Lance and Kelsey before it got too dark outside. As cute as they are, it was no surprise that every picture we took was frame worthy. After finishing up family pictures, we made our way inside to party the night away.
Kelsey and Lance, thank you so much for being so sweet and kind. Thank you for including us in your wedding celebration and allowing us to experience such a great evening! We wish you both many years of love and happiness together!
