Being a wedding photographer at The Ivory Oak is like a dream come true!  This is such a cool venue with a luxurious rustic feel.  Everywhere you look there are great opportunities for pictures.  We photographed a wedding here when it was still called Rustic Ranch.  We we came for the first time after the transformation into The Ivory Oak, we were blown away!  The new owners did such an amazing job of keeping what was good and making appropriate upgrades.  The new reception hall is perfect...not too big, not too small.  And the lawn area outside offers so many choices for ceremony locations as well as an outside cocktail hour.  Our favorite part of the venue might just be the bride's cabin.  Perched up on a hill, the cabin is accessed by fairytale-esque stairs and the inside of the cabin is so cute and just perfect for pictures.  
As a wedding photographer in Austin, we look forward to every opportunity we have to visit The Ivory Oak.
