Wine Country Wedding Photographer | Chelsea and Cody

Austin Wedding Photographer | Woodrow’s Vineyard Estate Wedding Photographer | Weddings by Tony and Elena

Central Texas boasts so many amazing wedding venues and we enjoy photographing at all of them.  Every once in a while, we get the chance to go somewhere new and that is always fun for us.  Central Texas is becoming more and more popular for its wine and, as such, vineyards are being popular places for weddings.  We are so excited that we’re not just an Austin wedding photographer team, but we’ve kind of accidentally become a Central Texas wine country photographer team!  Chelsea and Cody’s wedding was very non-traditional, very intimate, and very fun.  We are so glad that they decided to let us spend the day with them.  Chelsea and Cody were able to be completely present with their friends and family for the entire day because they chose to forego many of the wedding traditions that tend to consume so much of the bride and groom’s time during the day.  Instead, their focus was on spending time with friends and family and really making the most of everyone’s time together.  It was an amazing day and their pictures are beautiful!

An Awesome Wedding Day

When we arrived, we found Chelsea getting ready in the main house.  We had plenty of time for pictures of her getting ready as well as pictures of her details.  Cody was in his own cabin on the other side of the property.  Because we didn’t have huge bridal parties to work with, we had a lot more time to spend with Chelsea and Cody.  It also helped that Tami and Hailey with All You Need Wedding Planning were so organized and helpful.  They did an amazing job keeping everything going right on track.  We took lots of really great pictures before their early afternoon ceremony began.  Speaking of the ceremony, it was on a beautiful terrace outside.  It was a little warm outside (okay…it was really hot), but everyone endured the heat for a few minutes to watch Chelsea and Cody tie the knot.  After the ceremony we quickly found some shade and got family pictures taken care of.  Chelsea and Cody then spent the rest of the afternoon talking, laughing, and celebrating with their friends and family.  The maid of honor and best man gave some short speeches and then it was back to socializing.  Dinner was served by Lada Ladies Food Truck and it was so good!

At the end of the day, Chelsea and Cody decided to do a smoke grenade exit…and it was AMAZING!!!!  Elena and I were so glad that they came up with this idea.  Because their ceremony and reception were so early and it was so unseasonably hot for an October day, we decided to wait until the end of the evening to do pictures of Chelsea and Cody together.  After all of their guests left, the four of us made our way into the vineyard and spend a few minutes getting some amazing pictures.  It was so much fun!

Chelsea and Cody, thank you so much for sharing your special day with us.  Elena and I wish you many, many years of love and happiness together!
