Being an Austin wedding photographer gives us the opportunity to visit lots of different venues.  Some venues we get to see visit multiple times.  And some places, like The Terrace Club, just feel like home!  We love everyone that works there and are so thrilled that we get to be part of so many events at their place.  One of the things that always amazes us is how the staff at The Terrace Club makes each and every wedding beautiful and unique.  Emily and Luke’s wedding proved no different.  Their Terrace Club wedding was amazing!  They are one of our favorite couples.  They are so sweet and kind and just fun to be around.  There was never a moment of stress with them…and that makes our job so much easier.  After their engagement session (which you should look at if you haven’t already…CLICK HERE), we knew that we would love their wedding day.  When we arrived, we found Emily with her bridesmaids getting ready in the bridal suite.  Everyone was so laid back!  Luke arrived shortly after that and everyone started getting dressed.  As soon as everyone was ready, we headed outside with Emily and Luke for their first look.

Emily and Luke’s first look was such a great moment.  I’ll be honest…not all grooms have a stellar reaction when they see their bride for the first time on the wedding day.  Luke’s reaction was priceless!!!  And that was no surprise because Emily was just stunning!  Emily and Luke loved doing a first look because they had a chance to get their nervousness out and then they could just enjoy the rest of the day.  We spent some time taking pictures of Emily and Luke and then we had time for wedding party pictures and family pictures.  Their ceremony was beautiful and they were blessed with a beautiful sunset!  We were on the hill at just the right time to catch some gorgeous pictures.

Once all of the formal stuff was done, we went inside to celebrate!  Dinner was so good.  After dinner the dancing started.  Emily and Luke decided on a live band for their reception and they entertained friends and family all night long.  We even found a moment during the reception to steal Emily and Luke for just a few minutes and we are so glad we did.  The resulting picture deserves to be displayed on their wall at some point in the future!  Our job is so easy when we have such a photogenic couple.  At the end of the night, Emily and Luke exited under showers of lavender.  It was the perfect ending.
