We have the opportunity to meet most of our couples prior to their wedding day. Whether it be during the consultation or an engagement session or an online chat before the wedding, we usually find some way (with more than just a telephone conversation) to get together and said hello. But, every once in a while through no fault of anyone involved, it just doesn’t work out that way and we show up to the wedding not knowing what to expect. To be honest, that actually makes us kind of nervous. We could just look at weddings as our job and we just need to show up and do our job. But, at the same time, we also want to be inspired and want to enjoy our experience with the bride and groom. And some people…well…just aren’t that fun. That was not a problem with Chelsea and Jonathan! They are two of the kindest, most friendly, genuine people that we have met. Elena and I both had such an awesome time with them and are so glad that we go to be part of their wedding experience!
We arrived at The Terrace Club and immediately got to work photographing all of the details of the day. We had plenty of time before the ceremony for pictures of bride and bridesmaids and groom and groomsmen. After their beautiful ceremony, we took some family pictures and then spent some time with Chelsea and Jonathan away from friends and family taking pictures. They were so cute! At one point, we took a few pictures and Elena and I both showed them the pictures on our cameras. Jonathan and Chelsea were both so happy. Jonathan said to Chelsea, “Man! I know you said they were good, but those pictures are awesome!” Chelsea laughed and said, “I chose them for a reason!” Well…I’m sure it’s no surprise that their comments made Elena and I feel so good! We really enjoyed their mini-session. Everything worked out just right so that we could get a few sunset pictures right before going into the reception. Oh my!!! Their sunset was one of the most unique and beautiful we have ever seen. Chelsea and Jonathan will have such beautiful pictures to share with future generations!
Once all the formal pictures were done, it was time to party! Tim with Austin Classic DJ kept the tunes coming all night. Our photo booth was on hand and everyone loved using the props and taking lots of silly pictures. At the end of the evening, Chelsea and Jonathan had a rose petal exit and were driven off in a limo. The perfect end to a perfect day!
Chelsea and Jonathan, thank you so much for sharing your wedding day with us. Elena and I are so happy for you both and with you many, many years of love and happiness together!
